12/9/2003 1:50 PM We have been moved to our room, and Kyle went to the nursery. They gave him his first bath, and will be bringing him back to our room in about 30 min. Our new room number is 153. If you attempt to call and the phone is busy, I'm writting an update or uploading images. Try back within 10 min, and you will probably get through. |

12/9/2003 11:50 AM Ok, he is born. Uh, they didnt come and check frequently enough, so Kathy and I were sitting here, suddenly heard a squeak. Then the heart beat monitor was goffing off, so we called in the nurse. Turns out his head was already out. He delivered himself at 11:24 AM. The Nurse came in and said "OH, He's Delivering!", pressed the button "I've got the baby, I need a doctor, nursery, and I have nothing!". So it was quite exciting, everyone running everywhere trying to get everything taken care of right away. The doctors office is right next to the maternity section of the hospital, and he was huffing when he got there. 12/9/2003 10:25 AM Well, Not much has changed. Kathy is a 3, and we have played a few skipbo and double down games. I will make another update when she dialates more. |

12/9/2003 9:02 AM Well, here we are at the hospital. Things have started a little slow. We got here at 7:30ish, and about 5 minutes ago, they just got the pitocin started. But we found out that our nurse's maiden name is Hicken, so thats fun. The room number is 107. |
